Winter Protection & Avoiding Construction Areas

Avoid walking on garden beds and active construction areas. Even in winter, garden beds are fragile and can be easily damaged by foot traffic. Walking through these areas can crush plants, disturb soil, and slow the recovery of landscaped or restored spaces. Sticking to paved paths and respecting marked construction or restoration areas helps protect the Park’s plants and ongoing projects.
