Volunteer Opportunities
At Tower Grove Park, we are always on the lookout for new volunteers! We welcome volunteers with an array of talents and availability. Whether you can help once per year, once per month, or even once per week, we appreciate your energies to improve the quality of the Park. We rely on the goodwill of our excellent volunteers to maintain a beautiful and welcoming place for all.
Volunteering is more fun with someone to share the experience with so bring along your friends, family members, or coworkers and make it a social affair!
Tree Sucker Removal Team - Spring Training
Help support the long‑term health of Tower Grove Park’s trees! Our forestry Tree Sucker Removal Team hand‑prunes small suckers and epicormic sprouts to encourage strong growth and reduce future maintenance needs. We’re planning an April training session and are gathering interested volunteers now. No prior experience needed, just a willingness to learn.

Gaddy Bird Garden Crew – New for 2026!
We’re excited to introduce a new volunteer crew dedicated to supporting the Gaddy Bird Garden. This crew will help improve habitat quality and ecological health through hands‑on restoration work. Four trainings will be offered throughout the year, covering tool safety, habitat building, and plant identification. Work will take place in late fall/winter to avoid disturbing nesting birds.

Event Support (One-Day Opportunities)
We are regularly seeking volunteers to assist with our programs and events, which may include event setup and teardown, tabling, etc. Available opportunities are regularly updated at the link below.
