Strut Your Mutt

Strut Your Mutt is an annual fundraising dog walk & festival that brings together four- and two-legged participants of all ages to raise money toward saving the lives of homeless pets. In our fifth annual event in St. Louis in 2016, nearly 625 people participated and over $40,000 was raised, which supported Best Friends Animal Society and the ten local animal rescues and shelters that participated.

Terror at Tower Grove Park

Join us for our 4th Annual Terror at Tower Grove Park from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. along Main Drive at the South Grand Entrance!

The event is open to the public and will feature music, food trucks, candy, arts and crafts, games,  a costume contest, and a parade. Costumes are encouraged.

Terror at Tower Grove Park is a free event, but donations are welcome and appreciated - all proceeds will go back into expenses to host this event as well as keeping the Park clean and beautiful for all to enjoy.

William Shakespeare's Wreath Laying Ceremony

Please join us as we commemorate the 454th Anniversary of the birth of William Shakespeare with an annual Wreath Laying Ceremony. 

The English Speaking Union student winners of the National Shakespeare Competition will present monologues and sonnets, followed by performances from the Shakespeare Festival St Louis' education tour artists.  Texts for performances pulled from The Taming of the Shrew, Twelfth Night, Henry VIII, and Troilus and Cressida.  

The ceremony will be held in front of the Shakespeare Statue at Center Cross & Main Drive.  Light refreshments at the Lily Pond Shelter immediately following the ceremony.

The Strings of Arda from the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra returns to the Piper Palm House in Tower Grove Park for a fun evening of music.

Join Asako Kuboki, Becky Boyer Hall, Chris Woehr, Alvin McCall and Chris Carson along with special SLSO guest Philip Ross for a program of original compositions and a world premiere by Woehr.

Join four cellists from the SLSO for a little Bach and some holiday tunes in the beautifully decked Piper Palm House. Elizabeth Chung, James Czyzewski, Alvin McCall, and Yin Xiong will perform a program of solos and duets that build to quartets for celli that are sure to put you in the holiday mood. 

Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 6:30pm.
