Take a tour of the recently daylighted Nee Kee Nee, also known as the East Steam! The stream recovery project features several large-scale raingardens that slow and filter stormwater and allow for deep soil infiltration. The project also honors the ancestral Osage people who inhabited the land prior to European settlement, with their story told throughout the stream including an Osage village reproduction, animal iconography, and native plantings of cultural significance. Learn about all of these components through a guided walk along the stream.
Accessibility services such as audio description and ASL interpretation are available upon request. Email education@towergrovepark.org with several weeks notice to schedule.
