Crochet is a great hobby to connect with nature whether crocheting outside in nature, or crocheting a nature project! At this Nature Crocheters session with the Missouri Department of Conservation, we will be crocheting holly leaves and berries that can be made into an ornament, hanging decoration, or even a keychain. Before we begin our leaves, we’ll learn about Missouri’s native hollies and the benefits they provide to wildlife.
You must know how to crochet and be familiar with chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet to participate in this program. Please email the instructor if you’d like instructional videos to learn these stitches.
Hot cocoa and all supplies will be provided including 3.5mm crochet hooks and yarn.
You’re welcome to bring your own supplies if you prefer.
Please register each participant individually.
