Have the day off? Want to birdwatch from your window but have no place for a bird feeder in your yard? Join the Missouri Department of Conservation for a hands-on program where you’ll build your very own wooden bird feeder—apartment-friendly and perfect for all spaces! You’ll learn core bird-feeding principles and tips for attracting your favorite feathered visitors. All materials are provided by MDC. Each registrant will receive one feeder to take home. Children are welcomed to attend with an adult and will work with their adult. Dress for the weather! Meet the naturalist at the West End Picnic Site, next to the New Comfort Station.
