Tower Grove Park is teaming up with the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) for our fourth-annual Fall Frolic! Discover all the flora and fauna that live in our region through autumn-centric activity stations and wildlife encounters!
- Date: Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 1:00-5:00 pm 
- Location: Roman Pavilion 
Family-friendly activities will be offered through TGP, MDC, and our event partners, including:
- Welcome / Passport Station - pick up a passport and event map here! Visit stations throughout the event to collect stamps on your passport, and collect a prize upon completion. 
- Activities from the Missouri Department of Conservation, including: - “Wildlife Encounters” (Our passionate interpreters dressed in animal costumes) 
- Urban Fishing Activity 
- Owl Pellet Dissection Activity 
- Aquatic Animals Macroinvertebrate Display 
- Stream Table with Missouri Stream Team 
- Pelts & Skulls Mammal Station 
- Reptile & Amphibian Station 
- Bat Mist Netting 
- Migratory Birds Station 
 
- Tree Talk with Tower Grove Park’s Forestry Team 
- Firepits and S’mores with Tower Grove Park’s Education Team 
- Grilling and other activities with River City Outdoors 
- Music performance by The Opera Bell Band at 2:30pm 
- Face painting with Human Art by Jessica Dana 
- Rock-climbing wall with Upper Limits 
- Raptor Meet-and-Greet with World Bird Sanctuary 
- Animal tracking with St. Louis Wildlife Project 
- Greenway activities with Great Rivers Greenway 
- Story Time & Activity Table with St. Louis Public Library 
- Butterflies & Bugs with the Butterfly House 
- Sustainable Solutions with the EarthWays Center of Missouri Botanical Garden

Restrooms are available on-site at the Roman Pavilion.
The event is family-friendly and meant for all ages!
Costumes are welcome and encouraged! We won’t have trick-or-treating, but children will receive goody bags.
Event is rain or shine, unless there are thunderstorms, which will result in cancellation.
