Community Days at Tower Grove Park
Visit us during our Park + Play: Vehicle Free Day on the West End of the Park to celebrate Parks and Recreation Month in July with activities for everyone to enjoy. We want visitors to feel welcome and appreciated by offering special days to celebrate our Park People!
Date: Sunday, July 17 from 2-5 pm
Location: Roman Pavilion
Family-friendly activities will be offered through our event partners, including:
Rock Climbing Wall with Upper Limits
Bubbles + Music with the Bubble Bus
Bike Rodeo with Trailnet
Flat Tire Repair Demo and Free Bike Safety Check with A&M Cyclery
Free Mechanical Bike Repairs with BWorks
Helmet Safety with BJC
Camping adventure game with Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC)
Hula Hoops, Jump Ropes, Chalk Art, etc.
Red and Black Brass Band will offer live music at 4:00pm
Food and refreshments will be available for purchase from Cajun Seduction, La Columbianita, and Pete’s Pops.
This will be a car-less day in the West End of the Park. As part of Park and Recreation Month, we encourage you to take this opportunity to be active and attend via foot, bike, scooter, stroller, roller skates or your favorite self-propelled mode of transportation!
Volunteer Opportunities
1. Volunteer Shift from 1:30-3:30 pm. You will help with event setup and assisting families with featured activities.
2. Volunteer Shift from 3:30 to 5:30 pm. You will help with event take down and assisting families with featured activities.
