William Shakespeare's Wreath Laying Ceremony

Please join us as we commemorate the 454th Anniversary of the birth of William Shakespeare with an annual Wreath Laying Ceremony. 

The English Speaking Union student winners of the National Shakespeare Competition will present monologues and sonnets, followed by performances from the Shakespeare Festival St Louis' education tour artists.  Texts for performances pulled from The Taming of the Shrew, Twelfth Night, Henry VIII, and Troilus and Cressida.  

The ceremony will be held in front of the Shakespeare Statue at Center Cross & Main Drive.  Light refreshments at the Lily Pond Shelter immediately following the ceremony.
