St. Louis Mayor Cara Spencer joined Tower Grove Park leadership, donors, and community members at the groundbreaking ceremony on September 25, 2025, celebrating the launch of the 4 Pavilions Project and Facilities Core enhancements, key initiatives of the Park’s Common Ground Campaign to preserve historic structures and expand access for the community.
Project Highlights:
4 Pavilions Restoration – Restoration of four historic Victorian pavilions (Old Carriage, Humboldt South, Cypress South, and Lily Pond) supported by a $500,000 Save America’s Treasures grant from the National Park Service.
Facilities Core Enhancements – The new Director’s Croquet Garden will serve as a vibrant gathering space for programs, weddings, and community events. The expanded Event Support Building includes upgraded storage, concessions, restrooms, catering facilities, and improved pedestrian access.
💚 Tower Grove Park thanks its donors, partners, and community members for supporting this ongoing work to preserve history, expand access, and create vibrant spaces for generations to come.
