Celebrate Earth Month with Tower Grove Park

Happy Earth Month! In April, we celebrate Missouri Arbor Day on April 3, Earth Day on April 22, and Arbor Day on April 24. Although times will be slightly different with a shelter-in-place order, there are many ways to celebrate the beauty of nature with Tower Grove Park.

• Become a member
  Members not only support the park, but they are invited to special Member Mornings, exclusive tours or activities. Membership is the best way to be a part of the Tower Grove Park community.

• Help us keep the park clean
  We are doing our best to keep the park clean with a high volume of visitors. Please be safe and respectful when interacting with our staff, and keep your distance when we mow the fields. Thank you!

• Enjoy the blooming bulbs and flowering trees
  Delight in the tulips, Spanish bluebells, hyacinths, daffodils, dogwoods, red buds, cherry blossoms, and more!

• Admire the annuals
  Did you know that we grow over 5,200 annuals and tropical foliage plants in the onsite greenhouse? Our Horticulture Team is working diligently and safely to plant the display beds with coleus, verbena, vinca, and lantana, to name a few.

• Keep the kiddos busy
  Our Education Team is creating nature-based activities for at home or in the park. 

• Take a virtual tour
  Don’t forget our interactive map and digital tree walks at towergroveparkmap.org. We even have "tiny tree walks" for your little ones.

• Discover our hidden gems
  Digitally explore our lesser-known landmarks with a map from STLToday.com.

• Celebrate the St. Louis Earth Day Festival on Oct. 18 in Tower Grove Park
  We are thrilled to host the 50th anniversary St. Louis Earth Day Festival, which was postponed to Oct. 18. In the short term, earthday365 plans to create a Virtual Earth Day Festival at www.earthday-365.org during the week of April 18-26. Please join to celebrate Earth Day together safely!
