Be a part of Flower Power 2017! This fun, elegant afternoon is the premier fundraising event for Tower Grove Park, keeping our Park in bloom all year round. Join us for a very special guest speaker, and delightful luncheon on the Piper Palm House Plaza, where each table features a unique centerpiece designed by a donating florist.
Our guest presenter this year is Christopher Strand, Director of Garden and Estate at Winterthur. Winterthur, the 1,000-acre historic estate of the DuPont family, is famous for its landscaped gardens, and is the nation's premier museum of decorative arts. Strand’s presentation, “The Last Wild Garden,” will celebrate Master Gardener Henry Francis du Pont’s lasting legacy: a wild garden based on ideas promoted by Gertrude Jekyll and William Robinson.
